ATLANTA — Former Kentucky basketball player Richie Farmer has reportedly found trouble again.

The former Agriculture Commissioner was arrested on a charge of DUI Thursday by London police, according to booking information at the Laurel County Correctional Center.

He was booked at 6:34 p.m.

Farmer, 48, pleaded guilty in 2013 to charges of government corruption and served a 27-month sentence for misappropriating governments resources for spending on himself, his family and his friends.

He was also made to repay $120,000 in restitution.

Farmer was a prep basketball legend in the 1980s who led Clay County High School to a state championship and then became a member of Kentucky's "Unforgettables" who revived the Wildcats' program under Rick Pitino.

He won elections for agriculture commissioner in 2003 and 2007, but lost a bid to be lieutenant governor in 2011.

Kentucky coach John Calipari mentioned Farmer earlier this week when, unprompted, answering to criticism about not having enough in-state players on his roster.

"Where's Richie?" Calipari said, mocking what fans say.

Rex Chapman, also a Kentucky preps legend and Wildcats' players, tweeted about his friend Thursday night.

"I love Richie Farmer," Chapman said. "Unconditionally."
