The Anti Violence Commission sanction was as a result of the national anthem being whistled during the Copa del Rey final.

Sanctions have been handed out following the massive whistling (which recorded a reading of 119 decibels) that the Spanish national anthem received before the 2015 Copa del Rey final that was played at Camp Nou between FC Barcelona and Athletic Club. The whistling along with other incidents (flares, banners) have seen economic sanctions being handed out to both participating clubs and the Spanish Football Federation who co-ordinate the tournament.

A meeting held today between representatives from the CSD (Governmental Sporting Commission) and the Anti-Violence Commission concluded that financial penalties of 66.000 euro should be handed out to Barça, 18.000 to Athletic and 123.000 to the Spanish Football Federation. They also handed out a 100.000 euro fine to Catalunya Acció and a further 70.000 fine to other independent Catalan Independence platform groups.

Apart from Catalunya Acciò, the other platforms who signed up to a manifesto to protest about the Spanish national anthem being played at Camp Nou were: Sobirania i Progrès, CADCI, Plataforme per Dret a Decidir, International Comission for European Citizens, Fundaciò President Macià, Ara o Mai!, Catalunya di Prou, Casal per la Libertad i la Independencia de Catalunya, Societat Catalana de lliure Opinió, Movimiento de Cultura Popular "El Sotrac" and Units per Declarar la Independencia de Catalunya.
