Barcelona were back training on Thursday to recover from their 3-0 win over Roma in the 50th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy. The main absentees were Arda Turan and Douglas, who were working with the club’s physios, and Adriano. Jordi Alba was also missing after picking up an injury in the Wednesday night’s game. The Spain and Barça left-back is expected to be out for up to a fortnight.
On Friday the blaugrana squad will have a rest day before resuming their training schedule on Saturday as they begin preparations for the UEFA Super Cup clash against Sevilla.
