Sergio Scariolo has announced his initial pre-selection list of players ahead of the Eurobasket 2015 touranment. The 17 selected players are: Felipe Reyes, Rudy Fernández, Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol, Víctor Claver, Sergio Llull, Sergio Rodríguez, Fernando San Emeterio, Pablo Aguilar, Álex Abrines, Dani Diez, Pau Ribas, Xavi Rabaseda, Quino Colom, Guillem Vives, Nikola Mirotic and Willy Hernangomez.
Juan Carlos Navarro, Ricky Rubio and José Manuel Calderón, all miss the competition through injury. From this list, Scariolo will have to decide on the final 12 players who will form part of the definitive squad for the tournament that starts in September..
Spain are in Group B, and will be based in Berlin along with Germany, Italy, Iceland, Turkey and World Cup 2014 runners-up, Serbia.
