Juventus do not consider Vidal to be non-transferable

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are not looking to sell one of their stars but they do not consider the Chilean to be non-transferable. With the money they would receive from a possible deal they would look to sign Oscar.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are not looking to sell one of their stars but they do not consider the Chilean to be non-transferable. With the money they would receive from a possible deal they would look to sign Oscar.

Chilean newspaper La Tercera yesterday dropped the bomb: Vidal and Real Madrid have a deal for the Juventus player to move to the Bernabéu on a five-year deal. Today, the Gazzetta dello Sport sheds new light on the possible move by reporting that although Juventus deny they have received an offer, they do not consider the player to be non-transferable and also have a replacement in mind.

“Vidal to Madrid: it could happen” says the Italian media. They also remember the day Vidal left the Juventus camp to join up with Chile for the Copa América. According to La Gazzetta, it was “more than just a goodbye, with Vidal seemingly saying a final farewell.”

The report continues by saying that although Giuseppe Marotta, Juve’s sporting director, will not look to sell of one of his team’s stars, it does not mean that the player is non-transferable. If an offer arrived that Juventus considered to be fair they would have no problems in letting him go. Because of that, the Serie A champions already have an eye on his replacement. Chelsea’s Oscar is the man Juve are keen on and they would have more money to get their man if Vidal left.

Massimiliano Allegri has already hinted that he would like to sign a playmaker, referring to Real Madrid’s Isco. The Brazilian is closer to the profile of Vidal, however, a player who is ready to fight and who has plenty of creativity.

Vidal would be the second player from Juventus that Real Madrid have shown interest in after La Sexta announced that Rafa Benítez has asked for Fernando Llorente (something Madrid denied but not through an official communication). Juventus, meanwhile, also have their sights set on Isco, and the Italian club may ask for him to be included in any deals taking their players in the other direction.
