Sam Querrey fought from a set down to defeat Laslo Djere and John Isner won a fifth-set tiebreaker over Dusan LaJovic to give the United States a 2-0 lead over Serbia in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group on Friday. Querrey had 20 aces in a 6-7 (4), 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 win in the opening singles, and Isner followed with 24 aces in his 6-4, 6-7 (6), 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (4) victory.
