FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Padres top prospect Jackson Merrill delivered an inside-the-park home run on Wednesday night, leading the way in a 5-2 TinCaps win over South Bend.

Fort Wayne catcher Juan Zabala hit a more conventional home run, a three-run blast in the sixth inning.

San Diego pitching prospect Jared Kollar delivered a strong outing on the mound, throwing 5.2 scoreless innings.

The TinCaps and Cubs continue their series on Thursday night at 7:05pm.
