The Golden State Warriors are on the road but looking no worse for wear. Either team is in a position to win, but they lead against the Detroit Pistons 28-23.

What to Know

The Golden State Warriors' road trip will continue as they head to Little Caesars Arena at 7 p.m. ET Friday to face off against the Detroit Pistons. These two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Golden State didn't have too much trouble with the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Thursday as they won 104-89. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the third quarter to overcome an 81-68 deficit. The Warriors' point guard Stephen Curry did his thing and shot 9-for-16 from downtown and finished with 40 points and six assists.

Meanwhile, Detroit was able to grind out a solid victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, winning 97-89. The top scorers for the Pistons were power forward Jerami Grant (19 points) and shooting guard Cory Joseph (18 points).

Barring any buzzer beaters, Golden State is expected to win a tight contest. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (8-4-1), so they might be worth a quick bet.

The wins brought Golden State up to 13-2 and Detroit to 4-10. A couple offensive stats to keep an eye on: The Warriors come into the contest boasting the highest field goal percentage in the league at 47.40%. On the other end of the spectrum, the Pistons have only been able to knock down 40.80% percent of their shots, which is the lowest field goal percentage in the league. We'll see if Golden State's 6.60% advantage translates to a win.
