The World No. 1 can HOOP.

The World No. 1 can HOOP.

Scottie Scheffler's golf skills have been well-documented the past few seasons. The two-time reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year is on his way to a three-peat of that award and putting up ball-striking stats the likes of which we've only seen from Tiger Woods. For that reason, Scheffler is the overwhelming favorite to win this week's PGA Championship.

But before he tees off in the first round, we have some news to report about the World No. 1's athletic prowess. Scottie can also HOOP. Or BALL. Or COOK. Whatever word you want to use to describe his on-court skills.

Of course, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. He is a world-class athlete after all. And we've already seen his pickleball prowess. But you'd have to wonder how his, um, interesting footwork on the course would translate to a different court. Well, wonder no more.

Pretty impressive. In that quick clip, we see Scottie getting an offensive board, showing off a nice left hand, good court vision and passing and hitting a stepback three. That's a Dallas man who has been watching a lot of Luka Doncic.

But, yes, then there's the Pine Valley shirt. Can a golfer be anymore on brand than that?

Anyway, good stuff, Scottie. But let's leave the other sports until after major championship season is over. You've got a freaking Grand Slam to capture.
