Arsenal return to Premier League action on Boxing Day as they host West Ham United at home.

The Premier League's leaders have recorded an extraordinarily impressive 37 points from a possible 42 in their opening 14 games, but were dealt a major blow over the World Cup break.

Gabriel Jesus suffered medial ligament damage whilst playing for Brazil against Cameroon in the group stages. The 25-year-old later returned to London to undergo surgery on his knee.

While it is set to be a long road to recovery, Jesus posted a positive update on his Instagram story last week, saying "the first week is gone." The caption was placed over the top of an image showing Jesus' right knee in a hefty brace.

Still, he could be out for up to four months in total, something that could be detrimental to Arsenal's title bid. Mikel Arteta fully trusts Eddie Nketiah to do a job in Jesus' absence, but with the Gunners' squad already a bit short - particularly in comparison to Manchester City's - they will be thinking about strengthening in the January market.

Before that opens, though, they have two games to play, starting with the Hammers on Boxing Day. Supporters will be itching to know how they can watch that clash, so with that in mind, football.london has provided you with everything you need to know below.

How to watch Arsenal vs West Ham

The game gets underway at the Emirates at 8pm. It will obviously be able to watch for anybody with a ticket for the clash, but viewers at home will be able to access live match footage on Amazon Prime Video.

There's no need to panic if you're unable to watch the game itself. That's because football.london's live coverage of events will begin around 4pm. Our reporters on the ground at the Emirates will bring you team and injury news ahead of the match before taking you through the 90 minutes.

Will there be highlights?

Of course, if you're busy in the evening, you can watch the game on catchup television. It'll be broadcasted on BBC's Match of the Day as well as BBC iPlayer.
