Udinese vs. Roma: Lineups & Game Thread

The Daniele De Rossi Express shows no signs of abating. After a rousing start to his tenure as Roma's manager, critics were quick to point out that DDR was padding his managerial resume by beating up on Serie A lightweights. While that may be true to an extent, Roma's former captain just wrapped up a week in which he piloted the Giallorossi to their first victory over Lazio in nearly two years while also scraping out a 1-0 win over AC Milan in the first leg of the Europa League Quarterfinals. If you had any doubts about De Rossi's leadership qualities, this past week likely put them to rest.

Thanks to those victories and some help on the table earlier this weekend, with a win over Udinese today, Roma has a chance to pull within one point of fourth-place Bologna and five of third-place Juventus. Today's fixture may have "trap game" written all over it, but as we've seen over the past three months, conventional Roma wisdom hasn't always applied to DDR.
