Sevilla are not alone in their interest in Spanish forward, Roberto Soldado. Italian outlet, SportMediaset, report that Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund have approached Tottenham with a view to securing the services of the striker. The German club feel that Soldado could be the ideal replacement for Inmobile who has just joined the Andalusian club as a replacement for Carlos Bacca.
Soldado is adamant that he wants to leave Tottenham and his time at the North London club can be only be considered as disappointing with the player having limited first team action. The player’s original intention is return to Spain. Sevilla are in pole position to sign the player with Villarreal also being cited as another potential suitor. Tottenham are also reported to have fielded interest from a handful of Serie A clubs and it’s anticipated that the player’s future will be resolved within the next few weeks.
