Winners of their last six games, the Houston Rockets are looking to extend their streak to seven against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Luckily for the Rockets, the tall task of beating the Nuggets got a little easier as both Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson are healthy and able to play.
Talking with reporters before the game, Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said that Gordon and Anderson are “good to go” against the Nuggets.
Anderson sprained his ankle in Houston’s 123-113 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday and was unable to play because of the injury against the Heat on Wednesday. Gordon also missed Houston’s 109-101 victory over Miami after his back stiffened up in warmups.
With both Anderson and Gordon back, the only Rocket still on the injured list for Houston is Trevor Ariza, who remains out with a strained hamstring and has no timetable for a return.
