The Houston Rockets could potentially book a ticket to the playoffs on Thursday. It just all depends on how the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves fare in their respective games.
If the Thunder, Spurs and Timberwolves lose, the Rockets will clinch a playoff berth. All three teams have to lose in order for the Rockets to clinch. And while the Spurs and Timberwolves could potentially lose as they are playing against the Warriors and Celtics respectively, the Thunder meanwhile are hosting the lowly Phoenix Suns.
Even if one of those three teams win, the Rockets, who have the best record in the NBA, will have plenty of chances to clinch a playoff berth in the coming days.
