ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – MMAjunkie is on scene and reporting live from today’s UFC Fight Night 128 event, and you can join us for live play-by-play and official results beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT).

The event takes place at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., and it airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, Edson Barboza (19-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) meets fellow lightweight contender Kevin Lee (16-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC), and in the co-headliner, former champion Frankie Edgar (22-6-1 MMA, 16-6-1 UFC) takes on fellow featherweight title hopeful Cub Swanson (25-8 MMA, 10-4 UFC).

Keita Nakamura vs. Tony Martin

Round 1 – Pawing hands early for both fighters, and Martin whiffs on a high kick. Nakamura tries the same with the same result. Jabs traded, and both men try their power hand. Nakamura counters the low kick with a straight left, and they trade body jabs. Lots of pawing of their lead hands. But Nakamura’s straight left still good. Martin nearly fakes into a head kick, and then lands a pair of right straights, the latter of which forces Nakamura to a knee before he recovers. Martin doesn’t pounce, and Nakamura gets back into his rhythm. Martin makes him taste the right again. Midway through the frame. Martin smiles at a kick. Pawing left hook. Three-punch combo punctuated by right hand for Martin, and he appears to be in control here. Not much other than a shootout here. Shot for shot. But Martin is landing that right hand, and Nakamura shoots and gets the takedown. Martin wraps up for a guillotine, but his legs aren’t in the right position to finish. After a few kidney kicks, he scoots to adjust, and Nakamura follows him. Time runs out, and MMAjunkie scores the opening frame 10-9 for Martin.

Round 2 – Nakamura sporting a cut above his left eye, but it’s not bad. The two resume their previous pace, pawing. Martin pops the jab, and tries a front kick. Nakamura low with kicks. Martin follows with a jab and tries to circle away from the power. Nakamura fires off the straight left and misses. Calf kick from Martin. Audience is growing restless with the sparring rhythm. Martin pops the jab, and Nakamura repays. Martin with his favored one-two, and Nakamura tries to go high. That fails, so he tries a pair of straight lefts. Martin pops back with a straight right. Nakamura jabs to the body, and Martin nails him with a right. Nakamura misses with a hook, and Martin tries to go back with a right. Nakamura goes to the body again with his jab. Martin bouncing and looking for something big. He tries a no-telegraph right hand and misses. Circling around, he draws another counter attempt. They trade jabs and then power shots. Left hook good for Martin. Nakamura head kick a little low. Martin faking a leg pick. Nakamura counters a left on a kick, and Martin pops him back with a right hand and head kick. Again, there’s the guillotine, and Martin cranks it with seconds to go. Again, he runs out of time. MMAjunkie scores the frame 10-9 for Martin, putting him up 20-18.

Round 3 – Nakamura tries to keep Martin at bay with his left. He needs something big, and a charge meets a pair of right hands. Nakamura kicks to the body, and Martin chases him down with the same. Martin circling and tries the one-two. Nakamura shoots, and Martin locks in a kimura. He rolls Nakamura, but Nakamura gets free and wraps the torso, pressing Martin’s head down. Martin finally gets free, and there’s three minutes left. Nakamura needs a finish, and his kick is short. Both men commit to power punches and miss. Martin playing the counter game as Nakamura inches in, trying to land that one-two over the top. Timeout called as Nakamura’s mouthpiece pops out. Back on, and Nakamura closes distance. Martin fires the jab as he circles out. Nice straight right for Martin as Nakamura walks right into it. Nakamura just a little short with his shots. He tries a combo to set up a takedown and fails miserably. Martin talking to him again. Body kick draws right hand for Martin. Power punches from both miss. Less than one minute. Nakamura tries another takedown and gets it. Martin tries the kimura, and Nakamura’s back-take is negated by the armlock. Martin cranks on a straight armbar from half-guard, and he’s running short on time. Finally, he gives up and pounds a few elbows in before time runs out. MMAjunkie scores the frame 10-9 for Martin, who gets the shutout 30-27.

Corey Anderson vs. Patrick Cummins

Round 1 – Cummins ducks his head, already hinting at a level change. They trade hooks, and Cummins backs off. Goddard warns for fingers. Anderson jabs, and Cummins presses in. He ducks under when Anderson commits on the next punch, and he’s got a body lock against the cage. Elevates, and Anderson using the arms to stay upright. As Cummins disengages, Anderson lands a right hand. Nice jab as Cummins’ approaches. Anderson charges in and starts peppering Cummins with punches. Cummins firing back, but he’s getting the worst of it. Nasty body shots, and Cummins eats a knee as he grabs a leg. Anderson pounds him in close and deflates the shot. An elbow against the cage, and Anderson wraps the plumb. Uppercut cracks Cummins, who’s a bloody mess now. Head kick blocked, and Cummins presses tries to counter and then stage a counter charge. Uppercut and hook good for Anderson, who catches a kick and walks Cummins to the cage before completing the takedown. Cummins pops up, and Anderson peppers him with more shots. Knee to the body from Anderson, and Cummins peels off. Anderson lets a few kicks fly before marching in with another combo. He moves again for the takedown and gets Cummins to the mat. Cummins gives up his back and takes a flurry of left hands to the side of the head. Anderson waiting on back control and lets Cummins get to his feet. Strategy is to hang on Cummins, who fires off a surprise spinning backfist that misses. The two end in the clinch. MMAjunkie scores the opening frame 10-9 for Anderson.

Round 2 – Cummins again changing levels and ducking his head. Anderson pops a jab. Nice counter inside for Anderson on the next exchange. Cummins resets. Another leaping knee from Anderson that’s a little off. Anderson works the jab. Cummins tries his own combo and is short. He ducks again, and Anderson pushes into the clinch before wrapping the legs for a takedown. Cummins shucks him off, and they dirty box. Cummins’ jab good. He’s still pressing forward, but he’s a lot slower than Anderson. Body kick from Anderson sets up big takedown. Cummins gets to his hands and knees and quickly pops up as Anderson hangs on him. Single-leg good for Anderson, who pushes down Cummins. Back-take as Cummins turns, and Cummins is up. He pitches forward to try to get free of Anderson, who takes his back in the scramble. Cummins trying to shuck him off, and gravity forces Anderson to hop off. Cummins looks pretty winded. Anderson popping him with crisp shots. Jab snaps back Cummins’ head. Another uppercut segues to a takedown for Anderson, who again is at Cummins’ back. Anderson hops on Cummins’ back and sits up against the cage, then elevates Cummins and slams him for an emphatic end to round 2. MMAjunkie scores the frame 10-9 for Anderson, putting him up 20-18.

Round 3 – So far, Anderson pitching a shutout. Cummins lunges forward with punches, but they’re blocked. Anderson working the job. They trade right hooks. Anderson ducks under and gets the takedown. Cummins turtles, and we’re back to where we’ve been the past two frames. Cummins trying to get to his feet with Anderson at his back. Short shots. Anderson a blanket. Cummins gets up, only to be taken right down and smothered. Anderson gets a hook in as Cummins turns. Cummins grabs a foot and tries to turn out, only to take a hard punch. Finally, Cummins gets back up, and Anderson puts him right back down. Anderson rides with the leg again and sets up for a choke. Full back control. Cummins tries controlling the leg. Cummins gets back to his feet and grabs underhooks. Anderson reverses and gets yet another takedown. Cummins flattened out. Can Anderson finish? He’s got less than one minute. Anderson pounds with his left arm. Looks like Cummins is going to survive. He gets to his feet, and manages to stay on his feet. Cummins wheels with a backfist and Anderson pops him with a right to close out a dominant performance. MMAjunkie scores the final frame 10-9 for Anderson, giving him the 30-27 shutout.

Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Luan Chagas

Round 1 – Hard leg kick from Bahadurzada to start. And another. Chagas leaps in and misses with a knee. Chagas walking down Bahadurzada, and draws a pair of hard rights. Overhand right good, and Chagas kick prompts Bahadurzada to pour on the punches and convert to a takedown. In guard, Bahadurzada goes to work with ground and pound. Chagas opens up his guard and tries to spin off the cage. Bahadurzada follows him and resets position. As Bahadurzada postures, Chagas throws up his legs. Still, right hands score. Chagas sits up and amazingly takes the back. Body triangle in, and Chagas working for position. Punches open up bar-arm attempt, and Bahadurzada defends. Hand fighting. Chagas tries the other arm, and then settles on punches. Bahadurzada defending his neck. So far, Chagas not able to get into position. He adjusts body triangle to keep Bahadurzada from escaping. A face crank ensues. Bahadurzada gets to his feet and gets dragged back down, and he punches backward as Chagas tries to set up again. Body triangle in for Chagas. MMAjunkie scores the first frame 10-9 for Bahadurzada.

Round 2 – Bahadurzada staying flat-footed to wait for the counter, and Chagas starts walking him down. Another big overhand right attempt from Bahadurzada, and Chagas kicks back. Bahadurzada circles and takes a one-two. Bahadurzada swinging for the fences and missing. Chagas again forward and ducks a counter. Chagas misses with a one-two, and Bahadurzada tries to make him pay with a counter. Chagas with kicks as Bahadurzada walks him down and fires big shots that are just a bit off. Chagas ducks a charge and gets kneed to the body. Chagas goes head hunting with kick and misses. Bahadurzada thumping Chagas with punches, but most of them are blocked. A left forces Chagas to shoot, and he’s intercepted. Body hook good for Bahadurzada, and Chagas is feeling it. Bahadurzada walks him down and fires off a front kick, and Chagas is stunned, crumpling slowly to the canvas. As he does, Bahadurzada sneaks in a powerful right hook that appears to put Chagas out. Incredible finish.
