The most prolific offensive player in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history, wide receiver Mike Evans is inching closer to yet another team record, and he’s also set to join another Hall of Fame list this week.

Evans needs just one more touchdown to tie legendary running back Mike Alstott for the most in franchise history.

It will be Evans’ 115th career game, and he’ll become one of just five players in NFL history to amass over 8,500 receiving yards and more than 70 touchdowns. The other players on that list – Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson and Marvin Harrison – are all in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Evans is averaging a touchdown reception per game so far this season, putting him on pace for a career-high 17 scores. He already owns every major receiving record in Bucs history, and if he keeps up his average performance for a few more years, he’ll be joining those other legends in Canton.
