Rapper Rick Ross is offering prospective opponents for Jake Paul a further $10million on top of their fight purse.

The iconic musician, who collaborated on Paul's rival KSI's Top 10 single Down Like That, was filming an episode of Paul's new podcast BS with Jake Paul when he shared a picture on his Instagram page of the duo. There, he declared that he would be willing to help make the YouTuber-turned-boxer's next fight happen with an eight-figure investment.

Paul was supposed to fight earlier this month, his first scheduled bout being against Tommy Fury before the Brit was deemed unable to travel to America. Then he drafted in heavyweight Hasim Rahman Jr to replace his rival but he was unable to make the contracted cruiserweight limit and the event was pulled entirely.

And now Ross wants to assure that whomever Paul fights in his October return to action will have an added incentive. He wrote in the caption of their selfie "Since everyone seems to be afraid to fight Jake Paul, I'm down to put another $10m on top to make the right match happen. What fight would you want to see? We talking big s*** on the homie podcast so stay tuned."

Paul has already attracted some big name guests to his podcast including undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney and UFC bantamweight star Sean O'Malley. He has been in America to work on his new company Betr, but will return to his Puerto Rican training base to enter camp for his October return soon.

Not much is known about his return to action just yet, with no exact date, venue or opponent confirmed. Paul confirmed this week that it will be against a boxer with a winning record, and that he will begin moving down in weight by contracting it at 185lb as he begins the descent to light-heavyweight.

Paul has never weighed in lower than 181lb in his career, and has stayed above 190lb since turning professional in 2020. But his coaches want him to begin campaigning at 175lb if he fancies going for legitimate titles, given that he would be a relatively small cruiserweight with his frame.

He will first have to get through his October opponent, before then facing KSI next year in a Wembley Stadium showdown after agreeing to fight his long-time YouTube rival. The pair will compete in a "winner take all" battle where the loser leaves without a fight purse.

Paul will be a sizeable favourite for his bout with KSI having fought actively in the years since his rival last competed against his older brother Logan. But the fight is expected to draw a massive crowd, and become one of the highest-selling pay-per-view events of the modern era in boxing.
