It is highly likely if you’re reading this, you dream of one day playing golf in Ireland. Playing anywhere in the Emerald Links would be bucket-list worthy, but our friends at Premier Golf have put together what might be the best possible itinerary for a golf trip to Ireland.

Kicking off the day after The Open at Royal Liverpool, Premier Golf has organized a trip that includes all the highlights in Ireland, including the highest-ranked course in the world, Royal County Down, venue for the 2019 Open Championship, Royal Portrush (below), and the new Tom Doak-designed course St. Patrick’s Links, which debuted on our competitor’s top-100 list at 55th in the world.

The trip is a seven-day curated tour with just a 16-person max and guided by Bill Hogan, a 30-year golf travel executive, with extensive expertise of the area.

Other rounds also included in this itinerary are Portstewart’s Strand course, ranked fourth on our latest list of Best Courses in Northern Ireland; and the Sandy Hills and Old Tom Morris courses at the Rosapenna, which just opened the St. Patrick’s Links course in 2021. Sandy Hills is also ranked in the top 15 on Golf Digest’s latest ranking of the Best Courses in Ireland.

The itinerary also features top sight-seeing options in Ireland and Northern Ireland, including The Titanic Experience in Belfast, a tour of Bushmills Whiskey and a walk along the Giant's Causeway, plus exploration of scenes from Game of Thrones. The folks at Premier Golf have also arranged for top-notch lodging, which includes staying at Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort, where you’ll have a chance to meet owners John and Frank Casey.

Pricing on the tour starts at $5,990 per golfer (double or twin room) or $7,150 for a single.

In addition, Clarke is hosting an evening with Premier Golf clients at this year's Open Championship. Inquire about adding space onto the trip for this year's Open.
