Despite his absence from France’s 2-1 defeat against Germany in midweek, Kylian Mbappé is expected to start against OGC Nice at the Parc des Princes on Friday night.
Didier Deschamps revealed that the France captain was suffering from a minor knee injury, which called Mbappé’s participation against Nice, and even against Borussia Dortmund, into question. However, he trained normally with his teammates on Thursday, and he is now expected to start.
Randal Kolo Muani, who dramatically joined PSG on transfer deadline day, is also expected to make his debut. He was absent from Les Parisiens’ 4-1 win against Olympique Lyonnais due to an ankle sprain before the international break. Unlike Mbappé, he did feature against Germany in Tuesday’s friendly. Ousmane Dembélé is expected to drop to the bench with Gonçalos Ramos taking the final spot in the front three. Marco Asensio and Fabián Ruiz are absent through injury.
