JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars unveiled the 30th anniversary throwback jersey and it’s everything we could have imagined and more.
The “Prowler Jersey” was released to long lines at the Miller Electric Center as fans packed the walkway to land their new gear. The team will wear it for the first time in Week 5 against the Colts at EverBank Stadium. The design and logo are based on the team’s expansion uniforms in 1995 and have the feel of a throwback to better days for the franchise.

Former Jaguars coach and general manager Tom Coughlin will be inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars during that game, too.
“Well, they look fantastic. And, you know, folks are excited to see this favorite style of Jersey with their modern day player,” said one fan leaving the Pro Shop. “I kind of knew what to expect. So yeah, I mean, you know, you’re going see some Trevor Lawrence obviously Travis Etienne. And some of the old throwback guys but I think you’ll see a lot of these in the stadium this year.”
Fans will be able to snag the throwback jersey in person at the Miller Electric Center Pro Shop right next to EverBank Stadium until 5 p.m. Thursday.
Fans can also purchase the jerseys online. Jerseys start around $90 in person.
Thursday morning, the line was so long it reached the parking lot. One fan told News4JAX he had been waiting with anticipation since 9 p.m. Wednesday.

If you buy a throwback jersey, you could wear it to the team’s open training camp that starts in one week. Attending is free, but fans will need to register first.

For most practices at the Miller Electric Center, parking lots open at 7 a.m., gates open at 8 a.m. and practice is expected to start at 8:45 a.m. Free parking will be available in Lot J. Open practice dates at the Miller Electric Center include:
