Iowa State football is bringing on Robert Steeples as an offensive analyst for the 2024 season, according to a report from The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.

Named to the AFCA’s ’35 under 35′ list, Steeples’ resume boasts stops at nearly every level.

The St. Louis native was most recently the cornerbacks coach at LSU during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He coached there after a one-year stop as an assistant special teams coach with the Minnesota Vikings.

Prior to that, Steeples was named head coach at De Smet Jesuit High School in Missouri, where he coached for five seasons just after his NFL career.

During his final three seasons at the school, Steeples’ teams earned a 29-4 record and secured the programs first ever state championship in 2019.

Steeples played for both Missouri and Memphis in college before spending the 2013 NFL season with the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings. During his career, he also spent time on the practice squad in Kansas City and Dallas.
