As the Cleveland Browns are highly involved in the ongoing Brandon Aiyuk rumors, the future of where the team will play also remains up in the air. Last week, the City of Cleveland released its $461 million offer to renovate the current Cleveland Browns Stadium.
When talking to the media, Dee and Jimmy Haslam noted that they would do what is “best for our fans” when it comes to a stadium decision. The discussion about whether a dome or open-air stadium should be where Cleveland’s team plays has raged with fans.
According to a report in April, Browns ownership shared with the State of Ohio what a domed stadium in Brook Park would look like. Now comes a report that a decision is in the works with a $3.6 billion proposal set to be revealed soon:
It’s Brook Park

As is obvious in the picture above, the proposal is more than just a stadium. The goal would be to create an area that could accommodate hotels, restaurants, retail shopping and more.
Unfortunately, the NEOtrans website is down and has been much of the morning.
Many have assumed the Browns would be moving to Brook Park as news of the Haslams’ agreement to buy the land in that area. A dome is expected to draw more events like the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four and Wrestlemania.
Now that it seems closer to a reality, are you excited for a new domed stadium for the Browns? Do you think there is a chance they will stay downtown still?
