LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers’ bullpen got back two quality relievers, but lost one of their most vital ones.

Right-hander Evan Phillips was left off the World Series roster after suffering an arm injury in the Dodgers’ Game 6 clincher against the Mets, while left-hander Alex Vesia and hard-throwing righty Brusdar Graterol were added.

The Dodgers rely heavily on their bullpen due to numerous injuries to their starting rotation.

They have been using only three starters, Jack Flaherty, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Walker Buehler in the playoffs.

Phillips is a significant loss.

Vesia missed the NLCS against the Mets due to an intercostal strain and Graterol last pitched on Sept. 24.

Graterol only made seven appearances this year due to a variety of injuries.

Vesia gives the Dodgers a second lefty in the bullpen, along with Anthony Banda.

The southpaw had a 1.76 ERA in 66 1/3 regular season innings and didn’t allow a run in the NLDS, throwing three scoreless frames.
