6. Ralston Valley (2-1) won vs. No. 4 Grandview, 30-15: Brady Weldon ran in a pair of touchdowns and Logan Madden found Anthony Benallo (39 yards) and Jackson Hansen (21 yards) for touchdown passes as the Mustangs took a 30-0 lead and cruised from there. Next week: vs. No. 2 Regis Jesuit, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15.

7. Arapahoe (3-0) won vs. No. 2 Regis Jesuit, 34-27: Trajan Frasier scored on runs of 8, 12 and 74 yards, and Andrew Smart put away the Raiders with a 54-yard touchdown with two minutes to go for an upset victory. Next week: vs. No. 5 Columbine, 7 p.m. Sept. 15.

8. Valor Christian (1-2) won vs. No. 9 Fairview, 29-28: Two quarters away from the first 0-3 start in program history, the Eagles rallied from down 28-0 at halftime with four unanswered TDs and a Cash Spence-to-Garrett Dial two-point conversion. Gabe Sawchuk scored three touchdowns, the last to draw the Eagles within one with 2:28 to go, and Spence added a 30-yard TD run of his own. Next week: at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Ga.), 7 p.m. Sept. 15.

9. Fairview (2-1) lost at No. 8 Valor Christian, 29-28. Four different Knights scored touchdowns in a lopsided first half that saw Fairview take a 28-0 lead, but the Valor defense pitched a shutout the rest of the way to spark an improbable comeback win. Next week: vs. Horizon, 7 p.m. Sept. 14.
