PARIS (WSAZ) - While most people in our area were sound asleep Sunday morning, Ironton native McKenzie Long was wide awake in Paris and won her Olympics heat in the 200 meter dash. Long had a time of 22.55 seconds and advances straight to the semi-finals on Monday.
Here is the remaining schedule for Long if she continues to advance in the 200 meter race.
- Monday, August 5th 2:45pm EST– Women’s 200m semi-final.
- Tuesday, August 6th 3:40 pm EST– Women’s 200m final.
