Stefanos Tsitsipas v Matteo Berrettini
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Matteo Berrettini will play a match at the United Cup that was expected to decide a lot of things but ultimately it won’t matter much. The match itself will be taken seriously by the players because there are points and prize money at stake.
Tsitsipas has traditionally dominated this matchup and leads the H2H 5-1. They played twice in Australia and Tsitsipas won that match and won the most recent one on clay as well. It’s just something in the matchup that doesn’t favour Berrettini.
It won’t favour him in this matchup either as Tsitsipas played far better than Berrettini to start the year. He also played far more and generally plays at a more consistent level. Expect Tsitsipas to take this one and expect it to be in straight sets.

Coco Gauff v Danka Kovinic
There is not much to say about this matchup because Coco Gauff is widely expected to win this match easily. She’s been doing that all week long and while Kovinic is a tricky player who battles hard, there is not much she can do in this matchup.
Gauff will be favoured whether it’s played indoors or outdoors but Gauff would certainly like to play outdoors with fans in attendance. They never played before so that might help Kovinic a bit as she can surprise Gauff but even with a low start, the American is expected to win this easily.
We think it’s a straight-sets win and ultimately we also think she’ll cover the under on the games. The talent difference is just glaring.

Aryna Sabalenka v Irina Begu
A very interesting matchup will happen between Sabalenka and Begu with the Belarussian hoping to avenge her previous loss to Begu. It happened last year in Miami and she will hope that things are different this time around. They are both playing really well and Sabalenka is favoured as she’s the better player at the moment.
It would be quite the upset if Begu was able to win this match but she’s scored some big upsets this week already so it’s not impossible. Sabalenka is certainly not a player that is immune to a bad performance from time to time. We do think that this is going too far closer than the odds suggest.
We could see a way for Begu to win the match and we certainly think this match is going to go to three sets. We could also see a way for Begu to cover the handicap games so any combination of that is a good bet. We prefer the three-set option.
