The Tri-City United girls basketball put together a 1-2 showing over the last week beginning with a 61-54 home victory over conference opponent Lester Prairie. In the win over the Bulldogs, Gabriella Dahlke led the Titans in scoring with 12 points while Alexis Marcussen added 10.
TCU then hosted Glenco-Silver Lake Saturday but the offense was unable to keep up with the firepower of the Panthers as they pulled away for the 69-39 win. Marcussen led the Titans in scoring with 12 points in the loss.
The team finally wrapped up the week on the road against Belle Plaine where a 21-19 halftime lead eventually melted away to a heartbreaking 45-43 loss to the Tigers. Center Kaia Krocak led TCU in scoring with 14 points while Marcussen added 10 of her own to finish the week scoring in double figures in every game.
With the results the Titans are now 5-8 (3-3 MRC) on the season. TCU will return to the hardwood Friday, Jan. 20 when they host conference rival Norwood Young America with tipoff scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
