SPOKANE, Wash, - It's a great day to be a Zag. Both the men's and women's basketball teams have Sweet Sixteen games on Friday, March 29th 2024.
Only four teams in college basketball are represented in both the men's and women's brackets for the Sweet Sixteen (Gonzaga, UConn, NC State, Duke). Of those four, Gonzaga is the only school who has two games back-to-back that aren't likely to overlap.
Tonight, the office of GU alumni and friends (GUAF) will be hosting a double watch-party for the men's and women's games. They are expecting hundreds of fans and alumni to be there, but Spokane is not where it stops.
GUAF will be hosting watch parties in each of these 18 areas around the U.S.
