Nikola Jokic dresses like Gru ahead of Game 1 - ESPN

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic had an interesting outfit ahead of his first game in the 2024 NBA playoffs.

The defending NBA champion arrived to Ball Arena with a black-and-gray striped scarf and gray pants, similar to the outfit of Felonius Gru -- the lead character from the "Despicable Me" movie franchise.

Jokic starred in a teaser for "Despicable Me 4" where he seeks therapy due to Gru's followers -- the minions -- thinking he's their boss.

Jokic and the No. 2 seed Nuggets face the No. 8 seed Los Angeles Lakers Saturday.
