Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (11-14) are headed to the College Park Center in Arlington for the first time since the preseason to face the Dallas Wings (5-19) on Wednesday night.

The Wings announced Monday the matchup with Indiana was a sellout, the team’s sixth of the season. A capacity crowd is expected for Wednesday’s nationally televised tilt on ESPN.
Wings-Fever is the sixth sellout of the regular season and seventh of Dallas’ first 12 home games of 2024, including the preseason game against the Fever.
Bottom line
The Wings are 3-7 in home games. Dallas ranks ninth in the league averaging 5.7 made 3-pointers per game while shooting 31.1% from downtown. Arike Ogunbowale leads the team averaging 3.0 makes while shooting 33.8% from 3-point range.
In their last game, the Wings fell 87-81 to the Los Angeles Sparks at College Park Center on July 13.
Indiana visits Dallas after Kelsey Mitchell scored 21 points in the Fever’s 81-74 victory over the Minnesota Lynx. The Fever are 5-9 on the road. Indiana is sixth in the WNBA with 26.0 defensive rebounds per game led by Aliyah Boston averaging 5.8.
The matchup Wednesday is the first regular season meeting between the two teams.
Following Wednesday’s contest, the Wings will break for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix on July 20. After WNBA All-Star Weekend, league play will remain on hiatus until mid-August for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
Following the break, the Wings resume the 2024 season on Friday, Aug. 16, when they host the Connecticut Sun at College Park Center.
