Best Damian Lillard prop bet for the NBA Cup Final
Xaiver Aguiar details his top Damian Lillard player prop bet for the Thunder vs. Bucks NBA Cup Final game.
The Bucks hope to lift the NBA Cup after they take on the upstart Thunder on Tuesday evening in Las Vegas. Damian Lillard is starting to catch fire and starting to reclaim his superstar form.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Milwaukee is currently a 5-point underdog, with the game’s point total set at 216.5. Below, I’ve honed in on my favorite player prop centered around Lillard in this highly anticipated showdown.

Damian Lillard Over 3.5 Three Pointers Made (+110)
He might not be the same elite offensive engine, but Damian Lillard can still shoot the leather off the basketball. At 34, Lillard has become much more stationary, reliant on his handles to create enough separation to chuck from deep. Lillard has always been at the forefront of the three-point revolution, but in recent years, that’s been exacerbated, with more than half of his attempts coming from beyond the arc.
Part of Lillard’s struggles in his first year in Milwaukee came from being average from downtown, hovering around 35% on the season. This campaign has been a different story, as he’s been closer to 40% from distance since November.
It’s not hyperbole to say this is one of the biggest games of Lillard’s career. He has no winning pedigree, and this is the closest simulation of a “must-win” game until the postseason. Lillard has hit at least four triples in six of his last eight outings and will make it a point in this atmosphere to come out firing. This line being such a juicy value only adds to the appeal, and Lillard will have the volume to cruise past this total.

Xaiver joined DraftKings in August 2024, fresh out of the University of Oregon. The Massachusetts native was commenting on his sports video games by the time he could tie his shoes and fantasized about turning his favorite hobby into his future career. He might not have grown tall enough to be an elite stretch-five who could rock the rim, but this content-creating thing is a decent second option.
