The Cleveland Browns (5-4) have battled through obstacles all season to stay in the AFC North race, but they have another tough task ahead of them on Sunday against the New England Patriots (5-4). After a bit of a rocky start, the Patriots have found their rhythm and have won four of their last five games. New England has dominated the Browns in recent years, winning seven of its past eight meetings against Cleveland. Week 10 NFL picks for Patriots vs. Browns

Before entering any Patriots vs. Browns picks, you'll want to see the NFL predictions from the advanced computer model at SportsLine. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,600 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 10 of the 2021 season on an incredible 128-88 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For  Patriots vs. Browns, the model is picking New England to cover the 2.5-point spread in well over 50 percent of simulations. The Patriots have won four of their last five games, the only blemish coming in an overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Last week against the Panthers, the Patriots held Carolina to just 240 yards of offense, the lowest total allowed to any of their opponents this season.

In Cleveland, the Browns made the very high-profile decision to move on from Odell Beckham Jr., whose time in Cleveland had been awash with inconsistency and injuries. In addition, the Browns will be without their top rusher on Sunday. Nick Chubb, who's rushed for 721 yards and six touchdowns this season, will miss this contest after testing positive for COVID-19. Chubb accounted for 137 rushing yards in the team's 41-16 blowout of Cincinnati last week.

D'Ernest Johnson figures to be the lead back for a second time this season for the Browns. In his lone start earlier this year against the Denver Broncos, he had 22 carries for 146 yards and a touchdown. Teams have been able to move the ball on the ground against New England this season, but the Patriots have only surrendered two rushing touchdowns. Baker Mayfield has also been playing through a variety of injuries as well, so Cleveland is in for another gut-check performance this weekend.
