No ice — Oilers postpone Wednesday game, prepare for busy weekend when long Allen series resumes

This week: Tulsa hosts the Allen Americans at 7:05 p.m. Friday, BOK Center; visits Allen at 7:10 p.m. Saturday at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center; visits the Wichita Thunder at 4:05 p.m. at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Records: Tulsa is 22-19-4-1 (49 points), third in the ECHL’s Mountain Division; Allen is 20-24-2-1 (43 points), fifth in the Mountain; Wichita is 14-24-7-0 (35 points), seventh in the Mountain.

Promotions: Friday — The Oilers will wear nickname jerseys that will be auctioned after the game. Also, there be an Oilers hat giveaway for the first 1,000 fans.

Notes: The Oilers’ scheduled home game Wednesday night against the Kansas City Mavericks was postponed due to ice making mechanical failures. A makeup date will be announced later. ...
