Promotions: Friday — The Oilers will wear nickname jerseys that will be auctioned after the game. Also, there be an Oilers hat giveaway for the first 1,000 fans.
Notes: The Oilers’ scheduled home game Wednesday night against the Kansas City Mavericks was postponed due to ice making mechanical failures. A makeup date will be announced later. ... Wednesday’s postponement means the Oilers will wind up playing five games in a row against Allen after going 1-1-0-1 against the Americans in Allen last week, capped by a 6-1 win Saturday as Troy Kobryn stopped 37 of 38 shots in his Oilers debut while Alec Butcher scored twice. It was Butcher’s first three-point game with Tulsa ... Jarod Hilderman has seven points in his last three games and Blake McLaughlin has two goals and four points in his last two games. ... Allen’s Colby McAuley leads the ECHL with 11 power-play goals.
