Mexico coach says his side showed that it is ready to achieve great things ahead of all-or-nothing Ecuador match.

Despite not winning a game so far at the Copa América, Mexico coach Miguel Herrera was satisfied with his side's 3-3 draw against Chile. The tactician was happy with the performance against a side "that you have to admire" and is looking forward to the all-or-nothing clash with Ecuador on Friday.

Chile match: "It was a spectacular game for the fans, there was a huge physical effort. You have to admire the players Chile have got. They run, they fight, it's extremely hard to mark players of that quality."

Analysis: "We made a few dreadful mistakes. We are on the right track and we're improving. To go toe-to-toe with Chile at home, in front of their own fans, shows that this team is ready to achieve great things. Now we play Ecuador in an all-or-nothing match to see if we go through."

Vuoso – Jiménez strike partnership: "We brought players who score goals. Unfortunately in the opening match we weren't able to be clinical. Today they both gave everything and they delivered with their goals."

Draw: "It tastes to us like a draw, the same as the Bolivia result. It was a more relaxing result because of our attitude, because we were better in front of goal. We had an impact in the final third of the pitch and that's what we were lacking."

Adrián Aldrete: "We don't know what shape he's in yet. We're waiting for the results of the tests."
