Iker Casillas has made his debut for Porto. As expected, the keeper is playing his first game for the Portuguese club against Duisburg this afternoon after watching Wednesday’s friendly with Fortuna Sittard from the bench.
Lopetegui named the ex-Madrid captain in his starting XI alongside four other Spaniards: centre-back Marcano, left back Jose Ángel, Alberto Bueno (who also arrived this summer, from Rayo Vallecano) and former Barcelona winger Cristian Tello.
Former Benfica full back Maxi Pereira, another new signing for Porto, also starts having been brought in this summer to replace the Madrid-bound Danilo.
Porto’s starting XI: Casillas, Maxi Pereira, Marcano, Maicon, José Ángel; Danilo Pereira, Imbula, Alberto Beuno; Varela, André Silva, Tello.
