The Atleti team bus arrived tonight in Los Ángeles de San Rafael ahead of the team’s second week of preseason training. Three players who didn’t take part in the first week, Godín, Giménez and Raúl Jiménez, rejoined the squad but another left: Mario Suárez stayed behind in Madrid ahead of his move to Fiorentina. He’s expected to undergo a medical in Italy tomorrow.
The midfielder said his goodbyes to his teammates one by one at the club’s training facility in Majadahonda on the outskirts of the city.
Tomorrow Atleti will have a triple training session. The first is scheduled for 07.45h.
