During this evening’s press conference, Inter Milan coach, Roberto Mancini lamented having being forced to play two games in the short space of 48 hours. He complained about the lack of recovery time between both matches but did say that Monday’s game against Real Madrid is good in helping his squad grow. "It’s not ideal having to play two games within the space of 48 hours against the likes of AC Milan and Real Madrid. As a result we’ll field two different teams in each game", explained Mancini. His Internazionale team will be Real Madrid’s third opponent in their 2015-16 pre-season tour.
Inter suffered defeats in their past two pre-season games against Bayern Munich and Milan respectively but Mancini claimed not to be bothered about results being more focused on his team’s performance. "What I am happy about is to be here and competing against the likes of big clubs such as Real and Bayern. It may not be easy to get the results we want but it’s a great work-out for the squad", he concluded.
