Galatasaray are set to sign Spanish player, José Rodríguez. The Castilla is set for a big move to the SuperLig according to a report in Turkish daily Hürriyet.

The 20 year old midfield player was on loan for the 2014-15 campaign at Deportivo de La Coruña, will fly to Istanbul for routine medical tests on Wednesday.

The official signing is set to be rubber stamped during the course of the week. The paper reports that Rodríguez is set to sign a four deal with Galatasaray and will earn an annual salary of 750.000 euro.

‘Cim Bon’ coach, Hamza Hamzaoglu, spoke earlier with AS regarding the Castilla player’s imminent move to Turkey: "Rodríguez is a player who I’m watching closely. He can play in a number of positions. We have had positive feedback regarding the player from our scouting network. His natural position is a holding role in front of the defense but can also play on the right or left wing. I can’t really say too much as nothing is official yet”.
