The former Madrid player wasn’t happy when his coach took him off after 25 minutes of play against Polish team Lechia Gdansk.

Tension between Álvaro Morata and Massimiliano Allegri. The Juventus striker, one of the players behind last year’s successful season at the club, stormed off visibly enraged by his coach during the a friendly against Lechia. Morata had been brought on just after half-time, on 46 minutes, and Allegri decided to haul him off after just 25 minutes, in the 71st minute.

Morata’s reaction to being substituted for academy product Alberto Carri was to head straight to the dressing rooms, completely ignoring the orders from deputy coach Marco Landucci, who had been sent to tell him to go and sit in the dug-out.

“Today wasn’t his day, I didn’t what he did. Apart from the tactical errors, I didn’t like his attitude. Things didn’t go his way and he stopped [playing]. That’s why I decided to change him. I was angry with him out there, but he was bold later on and went out to train on his own”, said the coach after the game. Juventus managed to grab a 1-2 win with goals from Pogba and Mandzukic. Buska got the Polish side’s goal.
