2B side, Cádiz CF have officially announced the new signing of former Spanish international, Dani Güiza. In the communiqué, the club confirm that Güiza has successfully accomplished his medical test with the club and will be presented in an act that will take place tomorrow at 1300 (CET) at the Estadio Ramón de Carranza.
The club added: "He is a player of top quality with an impressive track record. He joins the club as part of our objective in making a return to the second division of Spanish football".
Güiza returns to Spain after leaving Getafe in 2013 to play for Malaysian side, Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C. After one season in the Malaysian Super League, he moved to Cerro Porteño in Paraguay. He severed ties with the South American outfit in March 2015 and rumours abounded that he was scheduled to quit the world of football.
