Pedro Rodríguez may have played his last minutes at Camp Nou in the famous granate and navy colours of Barcelona last night. Negotiations are ongoing for a move to Old Trafford for the player and his stiff competition behind Messi, Neymar and Suárez has been instrumental in his request for a transfer in order to guarantee constant first team football.

The Barça number '7' entered the game in the 60th minute as part of a multiple change for the home side and he received a warm welcome from the Camp Nou crowd. Five minutes later after some fine individual play on the wing the majority of the 94,000 crowd began to chant his name.

Pedro arrived at Barcelona following a move from Tenerife based third division club, Deportivo Raqui San Isidro and son secured a place in the Barça B side, playing 55 games and scoring 17 goals. He made his first team debut against Real Murcia on January 12th, 2008.

Since his debut, he has played 320 games for the Catalan club scoring 98 goals, securing 17 titles in the process. 5 La Liga wins (08-09, 09-10, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15), 3 Champions Leagues (08-09, 10-11 and 14-15), 3 Copa del Rey wins(08-09, 11-12 and 14-15), 4 Spanish Super Cup’s (09-10, 10-11, 11-12 and 12-13) and 2 European Super Cups (09-10 y 11-12).
