Barcelona player Jordi Alba has been honoured by having the Hospitalet Centre stadium, in his hometown of Hospitalet de Llobregat, named after him.
There, the Barça full-back was also asked about the controversy surrounding Sergio Ramos and his presence in the election campaign for the Barcelona presidency. “I would not sign for Real Madrid,” he said.
The Catalan footballer also had his say on the punishment handed to Neymar following the incidents in the Copa América clash between Brazil and Colombia. “I think that the sanction of Neymar is unfair,” he said. “The opposition look for him a lot. He has lots of patience. I would have exploded before that for sure.”
The full-back also made mention of Barça team-mates Montoya, Bartra and Pedro, saying he is looking forward to them staying at the club next season.
