Miranda Maverick announced early Friday morning that scheduled opponent Shanna Young has been hospitalized and as a result their women’s flyweight fight has been canceled.
Maverick (10-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) posted a statement on the situation with Young (8-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC) to her social media (via UFC 278.
