Alfornada is a city in the mountains. This is the home of the Alfornada City Pokemon Gym and is one of the Gyms players will need to beat in order to complete the Gym Leader story in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here is a breakdown of the Alfornada City Pokemon Gym including the Leader, Type of Pokemon, the Leader’s Pokemon and how to complete the Gym Puzzle.

Gym Puzzle
To start, trainers will have to complete the Emotional Spectrum Practice created by the gym leader Tulip herself. Go outside and talk to Dendra to begin the challenge
Task:
The task itself is rather simple. Trainers will have to press the corresponding button that matches not only Dendra’s emotions but also Medicham’s. This must be done before time runs out. Once completed a Pokemon battle will start. Trainers will be fighting:
- Gothita, level 43 (psychic)
- Kirlia, level 43 (psychic/fairy)
After the battle, it’s again with the Emotional Spectrum Practice. Once completed yet another battle will begin with these Pokemon:
- Grumpig, level 43 (psychic)
- Medicham, level 43 (fighting/psychic)
After completing both phases of the Emotional Spectrum Practice, The gym leader Tulip will now be available to battle.
