Hull City got their pre-season off to a remarkable start with a 4-3 win at Turkish champions Galatasaray, thanks to an unbelievable end to the game that saw the Tigers score three times in three minutes in the closing stages. It was a sensational end to an entertaining game, as City's players had their first run out of the summer.

Rosenior won't get carried away by a big scalp in a pre-season run out, but he will be delighted with the goals from his players, with four different scorers helping the side come from three goals down.

Benjamin Tetteh got the first just before half-time with the side already 3-0 down, then came the smash and grad raid late on. Cyrus Christie started the come back in the 83rd minute, with Regan Slater scoring two minutes later. Then, no sooner had the City fans in attendance stopped celebrating the equaliser, they found themselves cheering a winner from Oscar Estupinan in the 86th minute.

It was all a far cry from a fairly tepid start in the opening 15 minutes, with a Mertems cross deflected towards the bottom corner forcing a smart save from Lo-Tutala, the pick of the action.

City were then guilty of overplaying inside their own box when McLoughlin's pass sold Seri short inside his own box and again, Lo-Tutala had to make a save, with those two chances seeing the strong home support raise the decables once more.

Delap's first real involvement saw him beat a man well, before the ball bounced around the edge of the box for a period and then the striker saw his heels clipped, but the referee, much to Rosenior's frustration, waved away calls for what looked like a penalty.

Gala responded with two quick-fire shots wide with Mertens angling the second just wide of Lo-Tutala's post and then he was on hand again to deny Baris with his legs. Just shy of the half-hour, Kaan's glancing header gave Lo-Tutala no chance as it nestled into the corner to give the hosts a lead their pressure had been threatening.

It was 2-0 a minute later when Docherty gifted the ball to Berkan outside the box and he slotted in beyond Lo-Tutala with some ease. The game was put beyond doubt 35 minutes when Docherty gave the ball away in the box, the hosts quickly pounced the ball again was headed beyond Lo-Tutala by Kaan for his second, City again the architects of their own downfall.

City pulled one goal back on the stroke of half-time when Allahyar raced clear down the right before stroking it across the box for Tetteh to tap in the net. It looked all set to be a good run out but an opening defeat, until the crazy end to a memorable game.
