William Collum has been assigned by Uefa to oversee the Super Cup Final between Barcelona and Sevilla on August 11th in Tbilisi (Georgia). The current Spanish and European champions have played in three games where the Scottish official has refereed and were victorious on each occasion. The match official has yet to oversee a game involving the Andalusian club.
The 36 year Glasgow native, Collum, has been an international referee since 2006 and officiated six games in last season’s Champions League competition. He was involved in Atletico Madrid’s 0-0 draw against Juventus in Turin and Barça’s 3-1 home win against Ajax Amsterdam.
He will be assisted by Francis Connor (Scotland) y a Damien McGraith (Ireland), with Graham Chambers (Scotland) as fourth official.
