Atlético Madrid’s new signing Luciano Vietto is already setting himself new challenges for next season: to fight for trophies with Los Rojiblancos. In an interview given to the club’s official website, he expressed how keen he was to join to the club and to give it everything to be successful.
“Hopefully we can be fighting for the Copa del Rey, the Champions League and the league, and obviously stay in the Champions League positions every year,” he said, before talking about his new coach Diego Simeone: “He’s a winning coach and he knows how to commuicate with players”.
Vietto was handed his first division debut in Argentina by El Cholo, with the two now reunited in the red and white of Atlético: “I really wanted to come to the club and train. I’m going to train hard and give it everything so I can contribute to the rest of the squad and so that this season we can fight for silverware,” he said.
