One hour until kickoff: We have lineups! Thomas Tuchel chooses a strong XI with Bayern Munich lining up in a 4-2-3-1 WITHOUT Alphonso Davies. Harry Kane and Choupo-Moting start up top with Thomas Müller and Raphaël Guerreiro behind them. Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer start in midfield while Alphonso Davies has been benched for Noussair Mazraoui. Overall, it’s seems like a lineup that could start in the CL vs Real Madrid.

So with the Bundesliga done and dusted, there’s nothing left to play for except pride (and maybe revenge). Bayern Munich will want to avoid going too far in this game, preventing injuries and generally preserving the players’ stamina for the midweek Champions League clash against Real Madrid.
On the other hand, Eintracht Frankfurt DID deliver Tuchel a crushing defeat in the first half of the season, the type of defeat that usually gets coaches fired. So maybe he can’t help but respond in kind? Regardless, you should still expect to see the usual suspects — Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, Eric Dier, etc. in the starting XI, if only to keep them ready and match fit.
It’s Bayern time.
