Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have been engaged in a transfer battle over Rennes attacker Désiré Doué for weeks now, but the French Olympian has not been in a position to make a decision on his future.
After France’s loss to Spain in the gold medal game, though, Doué is ready to address his future and looks poised to take a close look at his options before making up his mind.
“I was fully focused on the Olympics. Now the Olympics are over — I have a decision to make and it will be made in a few days,” Doué told Radio France journalist Julien Froment(as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
At this stage, it is hard to guess which club he favors, but the media will surely be all over this in the coming days.
