Manchester United Women beat Manchester City 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Since United's reformation in 2018, City have won three of the seven meetings between these sides, with the Reds' only two wins coming in this competition — one being on penalties, but United found a winner in normal time on this occasion.
The Blues took the lead in the game within two minutes through Losada's excellent strike from the edge of the box.
Both sides then battled for possession and United grew in confidence on the ball before finding an equaliser before half-time thanks to Taieb's blunder in between the City sticks. The Reds duly took advantage of the mistake when Fuso tucked home.
United found a winner in the latter stages thanks to Batlle's strike to claim the bragging rights in the derby.
A reap of the events from Leigh Sports Village.

We're set for a good finish here
The reinforcements are on now, with Russo, Toone and Galton joining White, Weir and Hemp. With less than 25 minutes left, we’ll see just how much both sides want the three points with all their firepower on the pitch. If it finishes in a draw, we go to penalties with an extra point on offer for the winners.
Two more changes for United
Hansen and Fuso are off.
Toon and Galton are on.

WATCH: United find the equaliser
United probably deserve to be ahead
On the balance of play, United probably deserve to be level. They responded well to going behind, slowly got back into things, and are now more in control of the game than City. They’re pressing City well, forcing fouls and causing problems. Now it’s City’s turn to ride the pressure.
There's a break in play
Thomas and Greenwood are down after a clash of heads.
That was a poor few minutes for City
Raso should have scored there, she had plenty of time to pick her spot, but allowed the defenders to get back and put her off. With United getting more and more into this contest, 2-0 would have been a much more comfortable scoreline. Immediately, Alex Greenwood gives away a free kick, Karima Taieb can’t hold it (again) and United are level. What an awful few minutes for City.
GOAL!! 1-1 UNITED!
GOAL!! 1-1 UNITED!
That's awful from City at the back.
United take advantage of Taieb's blunder.

CHANCE!
Raso hits it over the bar.
Both sides struggling for quality
Both sides are struggling for quality in the final third.
There's not been much to write home about since the opening goal.
CHANCE!
Hansen gets a shot on target for United but it's an easy save.
This is a tight contest between the two sides
United have reacted well to City’s good start, but they’re still struggling to get the ball off the visitors. At the moment, they’re limited to set pieces but with every venture into the City half the crowd are getting more into it and it’s a very competitive derby so far.
United searching for an equaliser
This is better from United.
They'll be eager to find an equaliser before the break.
WATCH: The Blues' opening goal
United need a spell of possession
United haven't really got going here.
City look the better side in the opening exchanges.
That goal was too easy for City
That was too easy for City. Hayley Raso has been lively from the start, and has plenty of time to pick out an unmarked Losada for a belting finish. City are certainly up for this one and will be delighted to silence the home crowd early on.
GOAL!! 1-0 CITY!!
GOAL!! 1-0 CITY!!
That's a dream start for City.
Great strike from the edge of the box from Losada.
